About the role

As a Back-End Developer at Prosperna, you will:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust server-side applications, APIs, and microservices that power the Prosperna platform.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and performance.
  • Optimize database schemas and queries to handle large-scale SaaS operations efficiently.
  • Implement secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure following best practices.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing systems for reliability and performance.
  • Work on integrating cutting-edge AI features into the back-end systems to power our SaaS tools.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the platform.

What experience and skills should you have?

  • Strong experience in Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or equivalent back-end frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and serverless architectures.
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development workflows.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Bonus: experience with AI/ML integrations, SaaS platforms, and ecommerce systems.
